Director, Digital PR
NMS’s Director of Digital PR will lead and supervise our digital PR and social marketing efforts for our internal and external clients. The director should have experience in traditional public relations, be experienced in managing and developing solid client relationships as well as creating strategic direction for NMS within the web 2.0 environments. The director will also be responsible for managing and building out the team, ensuring that NMS has the right talent for current and future business needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong people management skills:
- Experience managing team of people with strong track record of leadership, coaching and mentoring
- 7+ years of experience in traditional Public Relations and/or online marketing
- Strong online relationships with top sites/ blogs
- Experience with digital and/or traditional Public Relations, editorial outreach and relationship building
- Experience conducting Digital PR and Social Marketing in new platforms
- Excellent grasp of social media and the principals of Web 2.0
- Excellent communications skills – verbal and written
