مشخصات زير مربوط به وظايف يك برنامه ريز رسانه اي يا Media Planner است كه در آگهي دعوت به همكاري شركت Underscore Marketing در شهر نيويورك آمريكا بدان اشاره شده است:
 
    Media Planner
  Smart, hard-working individual who can organize qualitative and quantitative data, and distill strategic recommendations from reams of signal intelligence.

Experience Profile
  • Experience working in media planning or buying at an agency or publisher, or a communications-related degree in an accredited 4-year educational institution

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Willingness to travel (to clients and to major industry conferences)

  • Enthusiasm for working within a small company and an appreciation of the entrepreneurial lifestyle

The ideal candidate for this position is a recent college graduate or entry-level ad agency employee who is looking for a more challenging work environment and career path than those typically offered by large agencies. Go-getters who pride themselves on their abilities to manage minute details without losing sight of the big picture will be successful working here.

Responsibilities

A. Productivity
  • The primary responsibility is to provide general support to the team in the day-to-day activities of planning, buying and maintaining advertising campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain timetables and delivery schedules for all assigned projects.
  • Ensure accuracy in all work on assigned clients.
Traffic and report on ad campaigns through appropriate systems (e.g. Atlas, DFA).
B. Learning
  • Demonstrate knowledge in all forms of media with which you have exposure.

  • Develop planning skills.

  • Create and maintain media plans and budgets for accounts.

C. Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular contact with clients and vendors when and where necessary.

  • Maintain working relationships with vendors.

  • Oversee the collection of research and data for pre and post buy purposes, either through primary research or through available research resources (e.g. comScore, Quantcast). imedia2007@underscoremarketing.com
